This prehistoric site is unmissable! Just a short drive away you can take in this beauitful World Heritage Site and explore all the surrounding areas.

Local Attractions

There are many attractions in the area. Mompesson House, Longleat, Old Sarum, Salisbury Cathedral, Stonehenge, Lacock Abbey and the New Forest are all within a short drive from the cottages.

Pubs and dining

The Wheatsheaf pub is directly opposite the cottages so you won’t have far to go to get a lovely meal. The Bridge Inn is in the neighbouring village and has a lovely river view. Salisbury has many restaurants and cafes so you will always find something to take your fancy.

Local Walks

There are many walks near us, from a casual stroll to a hike around the the Valley. You could take a short drive to Grovely Woods where you can try to find the Witches Tree.
